During the exhibition opening viewers were running inside / outside as they were taking in the changing night sky!

I’ve always had a fascination with dawn & dusk… When the sky is full of shifting colour it captivates you!

Thrilled to be part of an exhibition curated by @post_space_exeter to celebrate International Women’s Day at @osbornhouse_.

In response to International Women’s Day on the 8th March, Diana Palmer has curated an exhibition which brings together contemporary female Australian artists whose works stem from an attempt to capture an essence of the inconsequential or imperfect. Through memories, patterns and the passing of time, each artists explores the intricacies of the precarious times we live through. Creating ‘Idylls,’ unsustainably picturesque moments of beauty, evoking in each work a story of repose, stillness, the sublime and fragments of a shared history.

Back in the studio after a lovely festive season break! 🤗

I’ve taken some time to reflect on what an epic year 2023 was, achieving personal & professional goals.

My sketch book is full of ideas for new work as I’m preparing for 2024 shows. 16 new canvases arrived before Christmas with new ideas underway.

I’m working on new works to exhibit at @wondergroundbarossa in Seppeltsfield, South Australia & with @galleryjenningskerr in Robertson, New South Wales.

I’ll keep you up dated as the year progresses.
