August means SALA Festival across South Australia

August means SALA Festival across South Australia — a month-long celebration of living artists and the opportunity to discover work in galleries, studios and unexpected places right across the state.

Living in the Barossa Valley, I’m delighted to have these paintings included in the group exhibition Terra Mirus at @wondergroundbarossa , Seppeltsfield.

Exhibition Opening: 6pm - 8pm, 7 August 2026

These works are a quiet reflection on the landscape that surrounds me. Rather than depicting a particular place, they respond to the rhythm of the seasons and the subtle shifts that occur across the land. The warmth of ‘After the Harvest’ reflects the golden stillness that follows vintage, while ‘Ground of Plenty’ speaks to the renewal that emerges as the landscape returns to life.

Shown together, the paintings explore the quiet cycle of abundance, rest and renewal that unfolds year after year. The landscape is always changing, yet always enduring—a gentle reminder that life is fleeting, the people we share it with are precious, and every season is worth embracing.
