A series of paper works that focuses on surface, texture, colour and form to convey expression. This series of works was developed through the application of many transparent layers, working with colour combinations to create depth without referencing perspective or realistic objects. Through the development phase each piece of work carries individual character, a balance of tension & energy which is expressed through surface marks and colour.
